This prestigious award is presented in memory of Leo C. Benavides, a former board member of Challenge’s Because We Care Program. A long-standing supporter of the youth in our community, Mr. Benavides believed our youth are the foundation of both our community and country’s future and that making an investment in youth programs is making an investments in our world’s future.
