EECU is looking for an Indirect Service Representative that will be responsible for ensuring that all received indirect loan packets are entered in the system and distributed to the funding team for processing. Work closely with EECU’s Indirect dealerships on recovering auxiliary cancellation products on EECU’s Indirect charged off auto loans.        

Indirect Service Representative is responsible for working closely with EECU’s Indirect dealerships on recovering auxiliary cancellation products on EECU’s Indirect charged off auto loans.  Also requires providing the applicable Indirect dealership a weekly status report to resolve any outstanding accounts and confirming that EECU’s lien was properly recorded on all Indirect Auto Loans; averages 1,500 lien perfections each month.  Indirect Service Representative will also be responsible for collecting and maintaining documentation from either GAP Administrator or Indirect dealership(s) reflecting our members have been reimbursed their eligible pro-rated refund per Texas SB1052 law.  Responsible for processing dealership drafts by ensuring front-line staff executed the transaction accordingly.  

Position will also work closely with EECU’s Accounting Department, to ensure front-line staff funded the appropriate amount, monies were deposited into the proper GL, verifies the dealership properly recorded EECU as lien holder, and registered EECU’s member as owner.  The incumbent is responsible for providing a monthly update to Accounting Department regarding the Draft GL report. Processing daily payoff checks from dealerships and/or insurance companies averaging 1,000+ transactions monthly.  If payoff checks provided by dealerships do not satisfy the loan in full, incumbent must work with the dealership in order resolve the issue. Incumbent will run, daily, all Adverse Counteroffer notifications in TERES/SAIL software system. Position will also provide backup assistance to the Indirect Funders.  Position is also responsible for having thorough knowledge of multiple software programs, Symitar, Meridian Link, TERES/SAIL, as well as TXDOT, eFunds and OFAC. 

Responsible for compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Reg B, Reg Z, Service Members Civil Relief, FCRA/FACTA, Bank Bribery Act and NCUA Privacy Regulations. Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.

Candidates for EECU should possess the following knowledge and experience:

  • Three years indirect lending services experience
  • Must have analytical skills and be computer proficient
  • Must possess title experience, knowledge of auxiliary products and drafting process
  • Strong decision-making ability, good judgment and meet deadlines
  • Extremely detailed, able to handle a fast paced atmosphere
  • Able to effectively communicate to the dealers in order to obtain completed loan packets in a timely manner for funding
  • Ability to deal with members and/or dealerships in difficult situations
  • Must be able to reconcile general ledger accounts in a timely manner with accuracy
  • EECU will, in compliance with applicable laws, evaluate an applicant's credit history. Only applicants with good credit history will be considered for open positions.
