What will you be doing in your role?

  • Work closely with Director to research, develop and implement new funding strategies to meet the organization’s annual planned gift goals.
  • Research, identify and cultivate planned gift prospects, as well as current donors.
  • Work closely with the Communication team for program branding and marketing materials.
  • Train and educate the fundraising teams about Planned Giving, and support as needed.
  • Monitor, analyze and audit planned giving data to evaluate performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Responsible for individual donor cultivation and relationship management.
  • Manage a portfolio of prospects that are inclined to make a gift in supporting a wide range of CCFW initiatives.
  • Track planned giving data and report updates to Director.
  • Collaborate with Parish Relations and Faith Partner teams on speaking engagements and Planned Giving Seminars
  • Develop and implementing strategies to encourage donors to leave gifts to CCFW in their wills or estate plans.
  • Own and manage current or new Planned Giving software and/or giving platforms that we use.
  • Build relationships, identify and document planned gifts for the support of CCFW through personal visits and meaningful contacts with donors and prospective donors.

 

Are you the next Planned Giving Officer?

  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning, including wills, trusts and estate and gift tax laws.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in donor cultivation and donor relationship management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write compelling donor communications and marketing materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, Board members, and volunteers.
  • Experience with fundraising software and donor databases.
  • A deep commitment to the mission and values of our organization.

 

Here's the Good Stuff...  

  • Full-Time salary position with a starting pay of $65,000- $67,000. Pay is determined by relevant experience, work history, education and internal equities
