Location: Fort Worth, TX
Position Summary:
Place orders, track packages, and monitor on-time delivery, quality, and accuracy. Procure materials and services under $25,000 using co-ops, OEMs, and purchase orders. Determine order costs, compile cost reports, and forward invoices to correct accounts. Review purchase orders, statements and invoices to verify amounts owed, as well as prepares and processes payments for vendor invoices. Monitor inventory quantity and items, making new purchases when necessary. Contact suppliers to resolve shipment problems.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

- Analyze and process purchase requisitions
- Issue purchase orders once purchasing procedures have been followed
- Gather relevant information such as obtaining quotes, verifying availability by required deadline, etc.
- Obtain vendor information and submit to Accounting
- Review and processes vendor invoices per company policies and procedures
- Order, modify and cancel TRWD procurement cards as needed
- Organize, distribute, reconcile and file procurement card statements, reports and supporting documents
- Monitors orders and expedites delivery
- Monitor the status of open purchase orders to ensure on time delivery of all materials and services
- Compares invoices to purchase orders and reconciles discrepancies
- Maintain familiarity with strategic District levels of service
- Continuous improvement monitoring and innovation efforts
- Perform other duties as required
Required Experience:
- Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in purchasing and/or general administration
Desired Experience:
- Three (3) years of administrative experience
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a purchasing setting
Required Education/Certification/License:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Texas driver’s license
