    Mission

    Inspiring , teaching and empowering women and families to overcome violence, crisis and proverty.  

    RAPE CRISIS & VICTIM SERVICES: 24-hour Hotline; crisis intervention and support at hospital rape exam sites; individual and group therapy for child and adult victims of rape, sexual abuse, assault and other violent crime; comprehensive legal assistance;support for victims through the criminal justice system and prevention education programs for children, adults and professionals. Total served in 2014: 105,614.

    EMPLOYMENT SOLUTIONS: Job search training and job placement for unemployed and underemployed individuals; interest/aptitude testing and career planning; intensive case management to remove barriers to employment; and support after employment to promote job retention and advancement. Industry-specific skills training for unemployed and low-income workers to improve their earning capacity and self-sufficiency. Total served in 2014: 1,327.

    GENERAL COUNSELING: Individual and group counseling; Helpline providing crisis intervention and information & referral; legal clinic on family law issues; specialized counseling for older adults and case management for homeless children and parenting classes for their parents in three local shelters. Total served in 2014: 3,131.
