Job Description
Recovery Resource Council is looking for Recovery Resource Council is looking for a conscientious, detail-oriented, and compassionate individual who is capable of successfully managing multiple tasks and responsibilities to assist Veterans who are currently homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness.

·Ability to plan, organize, set objectives, time frames, and prioritize

·Understanding of and willingness to practice trauma informed care

·Ability to periodically travel to the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex, as well as other locations, for trainings, conferences, and meetings

 

Skills / Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field; a Master’s degree is preferred. At least 2 years of relevant supervisory experience is required. Experience working with people experiencing homelessness and/or veterans is preferred. Must have reliable transportation, a current Texas driver’s license and evidence of auto liability insurance.
 

Responsibilities:

The SSVF Case Manager Supervisor is responsible for providing direct supervision to the Case Managers, Health Care Navigator, and Intake Coordinator. The Supervisor will provide direction and support to case managers as they serve the Veteran clients. The Supervisor will both train and ensure that case managers follow procedure and guidelines of the SSVF grant. The Supervisor will be responsible for leading case staffings, case conferencing, and other staff meetings. The Supervisor will also have direct contact with clients to resolve questions or
 
 
 
 
issues. They will be responsible for approving check requests and confirming that spending is eligible under the grant. The Supervisor will also support a cohesive team mentality, encouraging partnership between team members for the benefit of the client. The Supervisor will also work with the Assistant Director and Director of Housing Services to review policy and procedures and will use feedback from the SSVF Compliance Specialist to guide continuous quality management and improvement.
